Ashurst Seasonal Clerkships:

Want to know exactly what our work is like? Get involved. The aim of our seasonal clerkships are to expose you to as much real work as possible, to help you to make an informed decision about whether this is the right firm for you.

For that reason, we'll allocate you a supervisor who can explain their work to you, include you in meetings and conference calls, and give you tasks to tackle. You will also have a buddy who will help you settle in and navigate around the firm. The secret to a good clerkship is to absorb everything while you spend time embedded in a practice area.

There's also a chance to get involved in understanding other practice areas through workshops and team-building events. You'll also be included in social events that will allow you to get to know our people away from the office environment.

Applications:

We are accepting applications for our 2024/2025 seasonal clerkships in our Perth office until Sunday July 2024.

Please click on the "Apply now/Pre-register" button to submit an application, which should include a covering letter, addressed to Bridget Totterdell, People & Culture Business Partner: Early Careers, details from your CV and recent academic transcript. Applications submitted via email or post will not be considered.

Please contact Bridget Totterdell if you require any adjustments to the online application process due to a disability or long-term health condition by emailing her at Graduate.Programs@ashurst.com

The work I have been given so far has not been limited to tasks that my team knows I can complete, but rather tasks that consistently push me out of my comfort zone.
